What sick, sick men!

I haven’t read a whole lot of news over the past couple of weeks as I was asked to write a eulogy for a loved one and did.  But, I’ve been trying to keep up with news that arrives in my inbox and today I also visited a few websites and blogs.
This clearly makes a point about the man that our Prime Minister is modelling.

And that’s frightening.

This clearly demonstrates the kind of person one could quite easily identify as fascist.

And that’s sickening.

  1. I don’t think the points it makes are very clear, other than mishmashing a few loose observations about the incompetency of the Bush Administration. This Canadian has a definite organization of information problem.

Secondly, our Prime Minister is not Modelling himself after Bush. If anything, he is doing what he thinks he should be doing, and the best way to do it – general public response to issues, although not entirely the sway factor, is being listened to. That such debates over the gay marriage issue is not being re-opened is a good indicator. Our government’s choice to maintain it’s presence in Afghanistan, although unpopular, is the right choice. We have a responsibility to those people now, to finish what we started. If we had walked, Afghanistan would be in much more danger than it ever was, as well re-creating a haven for threats to us as well.

I love leftists. Right idea, but always three steps too far.

  2. I think 3pennyProphet knows his price point.
    I don’t have a blog, I have a media collage.

& 3PennyProphet is apparently a strong advocate of value for product.

  3. I wasn’t intending to ‘attack’ ThisCanadian – just pointing out that Politics and Poetry’s allusion of clarity in point is a matter of perception. The fact that you’d mentioned it’s a collage reinforces that notion – a drive of information without organization allows P&P to do exactly what she’s done here – pull out the information that she wants to hear to drive her point home.

CSIS? no. I’m just pulling together some old blogs and rebuilding them over here when I have time. Casual Observer though.
